Helambu Circuit trekking Itinerary details:
Day 01: Arrival in TIA Kathmandu
When you will arrive in Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu you will be tenderly received by the representative staff from Keen Adventures Treks, you will be taken to a hotel. Afterward, you will be cleared with detail itineraries of Helambu Circuit trekking so that we can change or modify as per your convenience. Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu and preparation
Kathmandu valley consists of numerous Hindu temples counting of Pashupatinath, listed by UNESCO in World Heritage Sites and the largest Buddhist Stupa in Boudhanath. You can also visit the Monkey Temple Swyambhunath, built in 2000 years old and visit Patan, city of fine arts. In the afternoon, you will meet the trekking guide and will make sure every essential thing for Langtang Helambu trek. Stay overnight at guesthouse.
Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu 1 hr and trek to Chisapani (2,300m) 4hrs
Completing the sightseeing in Kathmandu today you will drive from the valley taking an hour and then you will make your way to Sundarijal. Beginning the trek from Sundarijal (1,350m) will head towards Chisapani which is located at an altitude of 2,300 meters. Taking 4 hours of the trek will provide maximum time in exploring Shivapuri National Park along with Tamang people. Stay overnight at guesthouse.
Day 04: Trek to Kutumsang (2,446m) 7hrs
On the following day, you will have your breakfast as soon as possible so that you can move to Kutumsang which is positioned at 2,446 meters. Altogether it takes 7 hours of the extensive trek which formally begins after passing through meadows. You will have pleasure from splendid observation of the Langtang Mountains. Taking downward from Gul Bhanjyang the trail will take you to Kutumsang. Stay overnight at guesthouse.
Day 05: Trek to Tharepati (3,650m) 6hrs
Spending charming night at Kutumsang today you will shift to Tharepati which is rank at 3,650 meters. You will take go up through the forest of Rhododendron. Then, the trek will take on to Yurin Danda offering sparkling vistas of high Himalayas. At last, you will reach Tharepati taking 6 hours. Stay overnight at guesthouse.
Day 06: Trek to Tarkeghyang (2,560m) 6 hrs
On the following day, you will start to Tarkeghyang which is positioned at 2,560 meters. The trek to Tarkeghyang demands 6 hours where you will move downward by crossing Melamchi Khola. Tarkeghyang will take you all the way through the Sherpa settlements. This is the village which is celebrated as Helambu. Stay overnight at guesthouse.
Day 07: Trek to Shermathang (2,610m) 3-4 hrs
On the following day, you will locate the trail towards Shermathang with 2,610 meters. On this day, you will not come near higher altitude so it will build the trek easier for you. From Gangyul you will come across the trail to Shermathang where you will get to make out Buddhist monastery, the highest spot of the village. Stay overnight at guesthouse.
Day 08: Trek to Melamchi Bazzar 3-4 hrs and drive to Kathmandu 2 hrs
According to the itinerary, this is concluded as the last day of trek where you will take downward footstep to Malemchi Pul Bazaar. This is the village where Sherpa people have given away their greater part but there are further ethnic people staying over there too. Moving further you will catch the bus at Bazaar taking you to Kathmandu. Stay overnight at Hotel.
Day 09: Departure!!!!
The trek with 9 days in Nepal indeed is an outstanding time all the way through Helambu Circuit Trekking with Keen Adventures Treks. On this day, you will revisit your hometown. So, the representative staff from Keen Adventures Treks will transfer you to the TIA.
