Day 10: Trek to Phakding (2610m) 7hrs
We reach Phakding on the tenth day after hiking for seven hours and covering a distance of 11 kilometres. Phakding is the meeting point of the trekkers who come from Jiri and those who come via Lukla flight. Some really hotels and lodges are available in Phakding. Overnight stay in a guesthouse.

Day 11–Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m) 6 hrs
On the fourth morning, we continue our trek and follow the trail along the Dudh Kosi River while ascending through Himalayan Pine and Doedar Cedar forests to the ultimate destination, that of the popular village of Namche Bazaar. The village of Namche has remained a historic trading point for the Nepalese and Tibetan traders who exchange salt, dried meat and other consumable and textile items. Overnight stay at a guesthouse in Namche Bazzar.

Day 12– A day of rest in Namche for acclimatization
The 12th day of the trek will be spent in Namche Bazaar for acclimatization purpose. As the altitude will now increase quite steeply, a day for acclimatization is paramount and strictly advisable for prospective trekkers. One can spend the day in Lukla visiting the local Bazaar of Namche or visiting the nearby Sherpa village. Or if you are not much tired and are ready for a few hours of trek, then you can go to the Everest Hotel for a great panoramic view of the Mount Everest, Mount Lhotse, and others. Located at an altitude of 3900m, Everest Hotel is the hotel that is situated at the highest altitude in the world. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.

Day 13- Trek to Tengboche Monastery (3867m) 5hrs
After a day of acclimatization in Namche, we resume our trek and climb further uphill. The trek now gets difficult with increasing altitude and the trekkers are advised to go about the trek in a slow and mild manner. Plenty of hotels are found along the way and the tourists will have the opportunity to take a short break if they want. After almost five hours of the trek, we reach Tengboche. It is a village in the Khumbu region of Everest and is located at 3,867 meters. Tengboche is mostly popular for the important Buddhist monastery, Tengboche Monastery, which happens to be the largest Gompa in the entire Khumbu region. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.

Day 14- Trek to Dingboche (4530m) 6hrs
After having tea on the 14th day morning, we will resume our journey towards the Everest Base Camp. Mount Everest, Mount Lhotse, Mount Nuptse and the other Himalayas will play hide and seek as you climb along the trail. At some point, the mountains will come quite close while at some other points they will appear farther away. Finally, after more than six hours of trek, we reach Dingboche, a small village in the Khumbu region that falls in Chukhung Valley. Dingboche is a popular stop for trekkers and climbers who are headed to the Everest or who are returning from Everest. As there are plenty of hotels and guesthouses, the entire village rests heavily on tourism. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.

Day 15- Trek to Lobuche (4940m) 5hrs
On the 15th day of the trek, we reach further close to getting that elusive glimpse of the Mount Everest as we continue uphill through the trail. Lobuche is the last settlement area before the Everest Base Camp and some old-fashioned guesthouses are available there. Many traders who come via Tibet also stay at Lobuche for the night before they resume their travel the next day. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.

Day 16: Trek to Everest Base Camp (5360m) and back to Gorak Shep (5164m)

The most sought after a point of the trek comes on day 16 as we head towards the Everest Base Camp located at almost 5400 meters of altitude. 3-4 hours trek from Lobuche is enough to take us to the EBC. Unfortunately, the actual positioning of the Everest is such that the actual summit is not quite visible from the Base Camp though we get amazing glimpses of the peak. After spending some time at the EBC, we return to Gorak Shep where we will be staying overnight at a guesthouse.

Day 17: Trek to Kala Patthar (5545m) and down to Pheriche (4371m)
As Kala Patthar offers the best view of the entire Mount Everest and the surrounding peaks, we trek to Kala Patthar from Gorak Shep. It does not take much long till we reach Kala Patthar and behold the beauty and grandeur of the Everest. It is located at an altitude of 5545 meters and it is also the point from where the Everest expedition starts. After staying at Kala Patthar for some time and looking at the mountain summits, we start our return journey. We will reach Pheriche, a small village in the Khumbu region, at the end of the day. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.

Day 18: Trek to Namche Bazaar 6hrs
Journey back to Namche from Pheriche is quite easy and comfortable as it traverses through several Sherpa settlement areas and villages. Overnight stay at a guesthouse in Namche Bazzar.

Day 19: Trek to Lukla 7 hrs
The trek continues further downhill as we reach Lukla after almost seven hours of trek. You will be staying in Lukla for the rest of the day and prepare yourself to board a flight back to Kathmandu the next day.

Day 20: Fly back to Kathmandu
The next day, you will board a flight back to Kathmandu while enjoining the 30-minutes of exhilarating mountain flight. The rest of the time in Kathmandu, you will be shopping and buying souvenirs to your loved ones. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 21– Departure from Kathmandu, “Farewell!”
On the 21st day of the trip and after almost three weeks of the continuous trek to the Jiri to Everest Base Camp region, you will head back to your country with some great memories of the Khumbu region on your mind. Board a flight back to your country from TIA, Kathmandu.
