Equipment Checklist

Please use this list a guideline and adjustments to the list can be done according to your needs, interests, duration of your trip, the season of your trip, etc. You can find a variety of these gear to hire or buy in Kathmandu. The majority of the gears which are for sale in Kathmandu are locally manufactured (hence a lot cheaper) and some gears found here are imported from China and are obviously of better quality.

You can find very high-quality branded gear too in some famous stores here. It is good to keep your luggage as light as possible. You can leave your excess luggage which you are not going to use in the trek at a hotel in Kathmandu. We normally provide 1 porter for two trekkers to carry your luggage and should have a weight limitation of approximately 25 kg for two people.

Below is the checklist of equipment you need for the trek.
