Day01: Arrival in Kathmandu: Representatives from Keen Adventures will receive you at the Tribhuvan International Airport and take you to the hotel where you will be briefly explained about your trekking package. You will spend the comforting night at the hotel.
Day02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu: This day, you will be taken to the day-long tour around Kathmandu Valley. Visits include shrines at Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath (also known as Monkey Temple) and Bouddhanath and Durbar Squares of Basantapur and other two nearby amazing cities of Patan and Bhaktapur. Many of the sites are enlisted in the UNESCO’s world heritage list and it is going to be a wonderful experience to visit the temples and monuments.
Day 03: Drive/Fly to Pokhara: On the third day, you will drive along the Prithvi Highway from Kathmandu to reach the beautiful lake city of Pokhara. The drive takes around 5-6 hours and en route, you will enjoy the scenic beauties of mountains, paddy fields and thickets. We will stay at a hotel in Pokhara for the night.
Day 04: Move to Kalikasthan: The journey for the day begins by travelling to Vijayapur Khola which is the starting point of Royal Trek. The trail moves forward through paddy fields for about an hour before leading to the river. After crossing the river, we will move up the hill to Kalikasthan where we will stay overnight.
Day 05: Trek to Syanglung: The trail follows through villages to the crest uphill which provides good views of the Annapurna Himal and Lamjung. Syanglung is positioned a bit farther from the crest which is our destination for the day.
Day 06: Trek to Chisapani: The trail passes through the series of ups and downs before moving forward through Gurung village. The trail then prolongs through rhododendron and Sal forest to Chisapani. Chisapani is famous spot for panoramic views of mountains including Dhaulagiri Mountain.
Day 07: Travel to Pokhara: We will hit Rupatal after lowering halfway down the hill. After a brief rest, we will ascend the hill for about 200 meters to make it to Sundare Danda. Our next destination would be Begnas where our trekking concludes as we drive all the way to Pokhara.
Day 08: Drive to Kathmandu:
The whole journey from Pokhara to Kathmandu takes 6 hours of drive through Prithvi Highway. We will enjoy evening dinner at the hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 09: Free day in Kathmandu:
Today is the free day. You can ease your muscles after a long and arduous trek. Later in an afternoon, you can go shopping around Thamel to take souvenirs to your near and dear ones. You will be served your evening dinner amid the cultural dance shown in your honor.
Day 10: Departure from Kathmandu, Farewell!
We will assist in your last moment preparation and take you to the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu from where you can take the flight to your next destination or your home country. We wish you safe journey and expect to serve you again!!
