Nepal is a mystical land which has remained curtailed to the world for several years that kept it far from the grasp of modernism. We can still have a glimpse of traditional living in rural Nepal where animism, shamanism, and witchcraft are still the integral ways of rural life.

Itinerary Detail

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu:
Representatives from ‘Keen Adventures’ will be there in Tribhuvan International Airport, waiting for you with a nameplate holding your name as you land in Kathmandu when you will be conveyed to the hotel located at the serene premises. After refreshment, you will get an explanation regarding your tour package and then you will have a sound sleep in our comforting bed.

Day 02: Mountain Flight and Sightseeing in Kathmandu:
Our day begins by taking an hour long Mountain flight from domestic Airport of Kathmandu to the Mount Everest. Taking a close-up view and hovering above the Everest, World’s tallest Mountain, we will fly back to Kathmandu.
Kathmandu is a vibrant City. No matter whenever you arrive, things are always happening in Kathmandu. Be a part of colorful ceremonies held especially in the Ancient city of Newars. Kathmandu is named ‘The City of Temples. Ceremonies and rituals are the integral parts of Kathmanduites. We will be having Full Day Sightseeing Tour in Kathmandu which allows visit into World Heritage Sites of Basantapur Durbar Square, Swayambhunath, Pashupatinath aka Monkey Temple and Bouddhanath.
Basantapur Durbar Square is the former residence of Royal Kings of Nepal which is spread in five acres of area and was built in 16th century. Basantapur Palace Complex is divided into two Chowks. At the southern end of Palace is located Kumari Chowk that abodes a living virgin goddess- Kumari.
Swayambhunath or Monkey Temple is perched atop the hill towards the west of Kathmandu Valley. Holy monkeys reside among woods located to the north- western parts of temple complex. Apart from the religious significance, Swayambhunath is famous for having the panoramic view of Kathmandu Valley as well.
Pashupatinath is one of the most revered Hindu Temple of Lord Shiva in the world. Recognizing its significance, Pashupatinath was enlisted in a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Bouddhanath is among the largest Stupas in South Asia and is heavily influenced by Tibetan Buddhism. That is the reason why Boudhha is also called as ‘Little Tibet’.

Day03: Tour in Patan and Bhaktapur:
We will leave the hotel after having breakfast to make it to the City of Arts –‘Patan’ which is one of the three archaic cities inside Kathmandu Valley known for its rich cultural heritage and arts. In Patan locates yet another World Heritage Site- Patan Durbar Square.
Patan Durbar Square holds chowk crammed with temples including Krishna Mandir, Bhimsen Temple, Vishwanath Tewmple and Taleju Bhawani Temple.
Paying homage to these temples, we will take a ride to yet another medieval Newari Town of Bhaktapur- ‘City of devotees’ where we will visit The Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Changu Narayan Temple both of which are enlisted in UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Bhaktapur Durbar Square lies 13km east of Kathmandu which is a mega structure crowded with chowks and temples. 55-window Palace, Golden Gate, Nyatapol Temple, Bhairav Nath Temple, Taleju Temple and Mini Pashupatinath Temple are sites worthy visiting while in Bhaktapur Durbar Square.
Changunarayan Temple is a shrine dedicated to Lord Vishnu- the Protector God located atop a hill nestled in Champak forest at Changu Village.

Day04: Drive to Chitwan:
6 to 7 hours of drive in Tourist Coach along Prithvi Highway enjoying the scenic beauties of river, mountains and paddy fields will take us to Chitwan. Sauraha in Chitwan has been enlisted in the World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Journey to the bank of Rapti River will be refreshing. We can enjoy the enchanting sunset view in the radiant woods of Chitwan National Park.

Day05: Explore Chitwan National Park:
It is going to be a fun packed day. One can choose from the long lists of varied activities which never seem to conclude. Canoeing in Rapti River, watching alligators, having elephant ride or taking a jeep safari into the dense woods of Chitwan National Park, elephant bathing, elephant feeding and spotting rare animals including one horned Rhinoceros and Tigers will make you wish the day never ends.

Day06: Drive to Lumbini:
Located 190 km far from Chitwan is Lumbini, yet another UNESCO enlisted World Heritage Site which abodes the ancient Kapilvastu City where Lord Buddha- the founder of Buddhism religion descended down on earth nearly 2500years back. While in Lumbini, we will visit Mayadevi Temple which marks the precise spot of Buddha’s birth. Ashoka Pillar located near to the temple provides evidence of Buddha’s birth in Lumbini. This holy premise is jam-packed with monasteries and temples built by the devotees from different countries.

Day07: Drive to Pokhara:
Covering the length of 290km track will eventually lead us to Pokhara as we head west from Mugling. The journey will be 8 to 9 hours long and tiresome. We will lie down at a hotel in Lakeside of Pokhara for rejuvenation.

Day 08: Sightseeing in Pokhara:
Pokhara is a land of wonders. Much fun awaits you this day as you will go boating in the calm Fewa Lake to reach the Barahi Temple which is positioned right in between the Lake. Gupteswor Cave, Davis Falls, International Mountaineering Museum, Seti Gorge and K.I. Singh Bridge are yet other sights included in the list of our schedule.

Day 09: Drive to Kathmandu:
5-hour long scenic drive along the Prithvi Highway will take us to Kathmandu from Pokhara. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.

Day10: Departure:
We will assist in your last minute packing and then our representative will leave you to Tribhuvan International Airport from where you can return back to your home or yet another destination. We hope to serve you again!!
